Gables Residential expands resident experience with rollout of Amenify in Dallas Fort Worth portfolio
February 19, 2020
Gables Residential, a vertically-integrated owner and operator of multifamily and mixed-use communities, announced the expansion of Amenify — a platform for services and experiences — to their residents across the Dallas Fort Worth market.
The thirteen high-end communities in the DFW market will now provide best-in-class services for residents and their pets, including the following:
Gigi Giannoni, Vice President of Marketing and PR for Gables said, “Resident desires and needs evolve quickly, and we need an integrated platform for services to meet this velocity. The data is compelling, consumers are looking for more than just four walls -- they want a lifestyle within a community. In a competitive environment to attract renters, Amenify’s expanding marketplace of services helps us solve this demand while further elevating our Gables Brand. It is a win-win.”
Everett Lynn, CEO, and Founder of Amenify said, “Gables is an industry leader and a premier brand in multifamily and I believe it’s due to their culture of innovation. The executives at Gables have a team that is committed to this, and it is reflected in their continued performance in the market.” Everett went on to say, “Amenify’s platform did not look like this 18 months ago, and the progress is the result of hard work and iteration from both sides. We are grateful for the Gables team’s collaboration in solving challenges, support from RET Ventures, and are honored by the opportunity to continue our expansion together from other markets.”
Amenify and Gables began discussions in 2018 and the relationship was bolstered through RET Ventures, a prop-tech focused venture fund ($108M), in which Gables is an LP investor. Christopher Yip, Partner at RET Ventures, said “It is great to see our investment thesis succeeding in the field. Real estate technology is a rapidly growing segment and it’s not just about creating an amazing product -- what’s valuable is the integration and support of technology for real estate operators at scale, which requires industry knowledge and collaboration. We are encouraged to see the impact of RET’s ecosystem and a mutually beneficial outcome for both a strategic investor and a portfolio company.”
