Nestio Hires Heavy Hitter Patrick Kennedy and Promotes Tyler Christiansen to Chief Operating Officer to Expand Footprint for New Product, Funnel.
The company expands its leadership team with the addition of top-performing sales leader Patrick Kennedy and the appointment of Tyler Christiansen to COO.
New York, New York - January 15, 2020 Nestio has just announced two exciting organizational enhancements to kick off 2020. Patrick Kennedy has joined the company as VP of Sales and Tyler Christiansen has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Patrick joins from Qualtrics, the Utah-based tech giant, and will be working alongside Tyler, industry vet Stephanie Brown and the company’s revenue team to grow the footprint of its national multifamiily product, Funnel.
“Rarely does the opportunity come along to join a company that not only has a revolutionary product, but a top-notch management team. This company has both, ” stated Patrick, “I am humbled and ecstatic to be a part of the team that will take Funnel to the next level. I have seen the shift that the world’s best organizations are making to put customer experience at the center of their businesses. The multifamily industry is looking for tools that will not just digitize online leasing, but automate and improve the experience of renters and staff. Funnel will play an integral role in this shift and I am looking forward to working with those forward-thinking, innovative companies that want to create better experiences for their customers.”
Patrick’s impressive background in both business and law make him a unique player in the industry. Graduating from Stetson University with both his JD and MBA, Patrick has had experiences in defending individuals against unfair trade practices, as well as establishing strong business relationships in companies such as Verizon Wireless, Entrata, and Qualtrics. His innate ability to care about people has led him to blow through sales quotas year after year as an RVP at Entrata, and even improve the experiences of citizens interacting with the government, as an Enterprise Account Executive at Qualtrics.
In parallel to Patrick’s arrival, Nestio has appointed Tyler Christiansen as Chief Operating Officer. Tyler joined the company in November 2018 as Chief Revenue Officer and has been instrumental in introducing the Funnel product to a national multifamily audience. Tyler will continue leading the revenue organization and now expand his scope company-wide to set the foundation for the company’s continued expansion.
“Tyler has exceeded expectations - not only in structuring, growing and setting his team up for success - but in providing support, strategy and a contagious enthusiasm to the organization as a whole,” said CEO Caren Maio, “His thoughtful leadership strategies have permeated beyond the revenue department, and he has improved internal processes and operations across the board. With Tyler’s expanded role, Patrick Kennedy joining us and Stephanie Brown’s recent arrival, our team’s multifamily acumen is second to none.”
These executive appointments come at a peak moment and inflection point for the company as it continues its national expansion. The company recently announced the addition of Stephanie Brown as SVP of Client Relations, who brings over 25 years of experience in multifamily property management. The Funnel software has been recognized by the 2019 RETAS as the industry’s #1 CRM and includes next-generation marketing and lead management tools, combined with a mobile-first platform for renters to submit an application and be approved in as little as 20 minutes. Similar to TurboTax, applicants can seamlessly gather all of the financial information and documentation required to lease, with just a few clicks. It’s the first solution of its kind and will create a competitive advantage for multifamily owners and managers using the Funnel platform, transforming the rental process for everyone involved.
Nestio creates software the multifamily industry loves to use. The company is the creator of Funnel, the industry-leading marketing and leasing platform for multifamily owners and managers. Backed by top investors from Silicon Valley and the real estate industry, Nestio is on a mission to transform the rental experience by building technology that streamlines the apartment marketing and leasing process, enabling multifamily professionals to generate more profits, efficiency and insight across their portfolios.
