CREtech Comes To Austin, Texas on April 22 and 23rd for Its First Event of 2020

To be held in Austin, Texas on April 22nd and 23rd, the panel will include Tony Cardona, Real Estate Portfolio Manager at Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS of Texas) along with several other leading VC’s and investors in the real estate tech sector. They will share their views on current funding trends and the outlook for the sector in the near and long term in a session titled, “Sailing the Ocean of Capital:  Current trends in valuations and funding.” 

Tony Cardona is a Portfolio Manager at the Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS). Since joining ERS in 2015, Tony has focused specifically on Real Estate Technology venture capital fund investments and Public Real Estate Securities in North and South America. Prior to joining ERS, Tony worked in Citi’s Equity Capital Markets group based in New York City, as well as an Equity Research Analyst at Avondale Partners based in Nashville with a sector focus on Healthcare Information Technology and Healthcare Services. Tony graduated from Cornell University in 2009 from the School of Hotel Administration. 

Tony will be joined by such leading investors as Travis Connors, Co-Founder & General Partner at Building Ventures, Mitchell Schear, Executive Partner at Camber Creek and Sheena Jindal, Principal at Comcast Ventures. The session will be moderated by  Allison Sedrish, Director at Barclays Investment Bank.
