Alex Munoz assumes the role of VP of Asset Management at Galvanize Climate Solutions

Galvanize Climate Solutions, a prominent climate-focused global investment firm, has appointed Alex Munoz as its new Vice President of Asset Management for the sustainable real estate investment strategy. Munoz's role entails enhancing cash flow and boosting the value of real estate investments through capital investment and sustainability initiatives. With over a decade of experience in commercial real estate asset management, including stints at Goldman Sachs and GI Partners, Munoz brings a wealth of knowledge in executing business plans across various property types and investment strategies. His track record includes successful implementation of ESG initiatives and sustainability programs to add value to assets. Munoz holds a BSBA from Georgetown University and a Certificate in Real Estate Finance and Investment from NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate. Joseph Sumberg, Head of Galvanize Real Estate, expressed excitement about Munoz's appointment, citing his expertise and past successes. Munoz, in turn, expressed enthusiasm for joining Galvanize, highlighting the firm's commitment to decarbonization and attractive risk-adjusted returns. Galvanize Climate Solutions, founded by Katie Hall and Tom Steyer, aims to accelerate climate solutions through investments across various asset classes, integrating expertise in investment, climate impact, measurement, and market development.
