TORONTO, ON, April 15, 2021 – The Building Owners and Managers Association of Canada (BOMA Canada) announced today the launch of the BOMA BEST Smart Buildings (Link) Certification Program’s Pilot Project. This certification sets a global standard for how smart buildings are measured, while also providing users with a roadmap to drive further asset enhancement and investment. Drawing on the success of BOMA BEST Sustainable Buildings, which has 3,100 certifications around the world, the program will kick off with over a dozen premier buildings across North America as pilot certification sites. BOMA BEST Smart Buildings is positioned to drive tenant experience, sustainability, the bottom line, and does so by considering six key indicators:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Cyber and Physical Security
- Data Management
- Connectivity
- Health and Well-being
- Sustainability

TORONTO, ON, 15 avril 2021 – L’Association des propriétaires et des gestionnaires d’immeubles du Canada (BOMA Canada) a annoncé aujourd’hui que 12 édifices renommés en Amérique du Nord sont inscrits au projet pilote BOMA BEST pour immeubles intelligents. Ce nouveau programme de certification établit une norme mondiale pour évaluer les bâtiments intelligents tout en fournissant aux utilisateurs un plan de route pour accélérer l’amélioration et les investissements. Semblable à BOMA BEST pour immeubles écoresponsables, qui compte plus de 3 100 certifications dans le monde, BOMA BEST pour immeubles intelligents vise à améliorer l’expérience des locataires, la durabilité de l’immeuble et le résultat de l’entreprise. Le programme est axé sur six indicateurs clés :
