Microsoft and BlackRock have formed the Global Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Investment Partnership (GAIIP) to raise up to $100 billion for AI-focused data centers and power infrastructure. The initial target is $30 billion, with potential growth through debt financing. This partnership includes Global Infrastructure Partners and MGX, aiming to support the surge in demand for AI technologies. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella emphasized the initiative's focus on building sustainable infrastructure to power future AI innovation.
