Planera, a construction-tech startup specializing in scheduling and planning software for commercial construction projects, has raised $13.5 million in Series A funding. The San Jose-based company offers a digital whiteboard-like platform that simplifies and modernizes project scheduling, integrating with tools like AutoDesk and Procore. With this new funding, led by Sierra Ventures, Planera plans to enhance its AI-driven features, expand its team, and increase its focus on sales and marketing. Founded in 2021 by Nitin Bhandari and Saif Lodhi, the startup addresses the industry's need for more intuitive and efficient scheduling tools, already serving over 500 live projects.
