What Real Estate Leaders from London to Miami Are Doing to Navigate Uncertain Times—We’ve Got You Covered
Emily Wright - CREtech

Welcome to another issue of “CREtech, Curated”, the monthly newsletter where I endeavour to draw your attention to something of note. Not just any old thing, of course. Always something relevant to the worlds of real estate, technology and innovation. This month I have decided to do things a little differently and, rather than bring you news from far and wide, I’ve looked a little closer to home. And with good reason given we have a whole host of CREtech news and content to share that should resonate with you, our subscribers.
First up, we are now less than two months out from our London event on July 1st and, with the agenda almost finalised, the past few weeks have seen focus and attention firmly turned on our incredible line-up. With speakers from the UK capital and across Europe joining us for the one-day event to discuss future trends across the entire European region over the next five years, this really will be one not to miss.
From our opening CEO panel to a discussion on the future of workspace—which, I promise, will not be like the myriad panels on this subject we’ve all heard before—and from the power (and commercial success) of spaces and places designed intrinsically for humans, to an update from the top tech team at JLL on how the business is progressing with its AI platform Falcon, we are continuing in our grand CREtech tradition of delivering only the strongest keynote speakers, interviewees, and panellists.
But don’t just take my word for it—check out this video where I take you on a whistle-stop tour of the entire day’s agenda in under 10 minutes.
Having lived and breathed this content for the past few months, I’m excited to finally share it in near entirety. We do have one final panel to announce, and I recommend you keep an eye out for that—it’s going to be a good one.
We still have a few tickets left which you can snap up here if you are quick - and hopefully we will see some of you at Convene’s 200 Aldersgate venue in a few weeks.
Momentum is also building ahead of our flagship New York event this October 21-22. If you haven’t explored the Hosted Buyers Program yet, you can find all the details here. Designed as a shortcut to the most valuable, high-impact meetings—without the exhausting small talk that often gives conferences a bad name—CREtech is shaking things up this autumn with one of the most significant changes to our event series since its launch eight years ago.
And finally, it would be remiss of me not to highlight both the latest and upcoming guests in our CEO Stories series. The podcast that just keeps on giving, I was joined by Mark Allan, CEO of UK-based developer Landsec in the latest episode. To find out why he aims to operate at a maximum of 75% capacity most of the time, be sure to tune in—and keep an eye out for our next episode, where I speak with Don Peebles, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of The Peebles Corporation. We’ll cover everything from what it takes to lead one of the largest real estate companies in the U.S. to how he attributes much of his success in life and business to being raised by a strong, single mother.
Be sure you tune in and give the other episodes a listen while you are there. Fascinating stories, fears, rituals and routines from some of the most influential people in real estate - if that’s not worth drawing your attention to then I don’t know what is.
