CREtech New York returns for its eighth year on October 21–22 at the Jacob Javits Center, promising a larger and more strategic event than ever before. While the event has traditionally served as a hub for proptech innovators and major real estate owners and investors, 2025 brings a significant shift: an expanded focus on corporate occupiers. CREtech CEO Michael Beckerman emphasized the goal of engaging heads of real estate at major corporations to spotlight how they’re rethinking the office experience and return-to-work strategies. This initiative is reflected in a new panel partnership with CoreNet Global’s NYC chapter, featuring executives from IBM, Oracle, and Cigna Group.
In a major format evolution, CREtech is launching a Hosted Meetings program designed to replace ad-hoc networking with curated, high-value interactions. Buyers are pre-matched with solution providers based on specific business needs—such as AI integrations in property management—and scheduled for short, targeted meetings. Beckerman sees this as a smarter, more scalable model that dramatically improves ROI for attendees.
Artificial intelligence will also take center stage at the event. With real estate professionals becoming more familiar with tools like ChatGPT, CREtech is showcasing how AI can streamline customer service, automate data aggregation, and act as a round-the-clock sales or property management agent. Beckerman believes AI is the long-awaited breakthrough that will drive a more efficient, tech-enabled real estate industry. The 2025 event aims to catalyze this momentum by connecting decision-makers directly with the innovations reshaping commercial real estate.
