Our team at CRE // Tech recently caught up with Integrated Business Systems (IBS) to learn more about their site, strategy and vision. 

What does your site do?

Our mission is to help our clients eliminate information silos. Our primary tool is Imperium, powered by Acumatica, IBS’s enterprise property management/accounting solution that not only puts information in the multi-cloud environment but makes it available anytime, on any browser in a consolidated form.

The industry’s latest wave of commercial real estate decision-makers understands the limitations imposed by siloed information. As mobile-centric digital natives, they are used to literally carrying their brains in their pockets. They expect their devices to provide the comprehensive data they need to make a deal when and where they need it.

Who are your customers?

Our solution is gaining ground with a new generation of commercial real estate executives who know that the best deals are the ones based on the best information. Their passion for tech (and what it can do to make a commercial real estate business more successful) is spreading across demographic lines. There’s a growing recognition that technology, when strategically deployed, is transforming the world and these rising industry leaders want their corner to be “in on it.” Commercial real estate companies with this management attitude are our best market and our most satisfied clients.

What are the core benefits of using your site?

Imperium includes a full suite of residential and commercial property management/accounting features that address virtually all property management and construction management tasks, and provides a completely integrated and sophisticated accounting system. It is, arguably, the most robust, enterprise-wide product of its kind.

How’s business?

Business is great! We’re seeing tremendous interest in the multi-cloud CRE tech stack and Imperium as it’s foundation. We have deals working around the world. Partners in Southeast Asia, South Africa and Europe are working with potential clients, along with the great interest in North America.

What are your future plans?

We will continue to provide an open platform designed to facilitate integration with whatever solutions clients want to use to build their unique technology stack. We see Blockchain as a disruptive technology that will improve data transparency and governance. We want to leverage these standards for both simple and complex transactions to speed up transaction processing while providing the high security inherent in the digital ledger.
