The new and improved REISReports

Quietly, REIS Reports rolled out a refreshed (and elegant!) interface.

Over the years, I've used CoStar Comps, Real Capital Analytics and REIS for sale comps.

A quick story
I have had a strong preference for Real Capital Analytics over the years, as they regularly improved both the breadth and depth of their research.

Another large reason was that RCA also provides lists of the most active buyers for various asset types and regions along with easy access to many of these buyers deal histories.

I recently called RCA to inquiry about a single-member subscription. After waiting over 24 hours just to find out the cost, guess the price they quoted me... Twenty-Five THOUSAND dollars.

That is complete insanity.

For this reason, I took a second look at REISReports and have been very pleased so far. Their reports don't cover buyer-level activity in the same way that RCA does, but in my current role this information is not that necessary.

So, if you are looking for an affordable alternative to overpriced sale comp data, I encourage you to check out REISReports.com. Oh, and you can sign up for a free 7-day trial on your own, you don't need to wait for your regional "account executive" to call you back.
