I recently had a chance to touch base with Chris at Investor Management Services. Chris has been working in the B2B software world for over 20 years – this guy really knows his stuff! He and his team at IMS have seen the SaaS delivery model disrupt several industries and once it was apparent that this was going to happen in the CRE space, and rapidly, Chris saw a huge opportunity to take the early traction IMS had already achieved to create an industry leading technology platform that would provide CRE companies a clear path to embrace efficiencies in the digital era.
Their platform allows customers to better manage their investor communications by providing transparency through an investor portal featuring CRM driven communications, digital document distribution as well as waterfall calculations. IMS continues to invest heavily in product development with many new initiatives planned.
When I asked Chris what one piece of advice he would share with someone entering the CRE tech space he said, “relentless focus on your customer and the value they derive from your product.”
