Equiem, the global leader in commercial tenant experience technology, has made three senior additions to its New York-based US team, reflecting a fast-growing demand for the firm’s services from commercial landlords across the USA. Equiem has also announced that it has established a full-time presence on the West Coast for the first time.

Founded in 2011, the firm’s market-leading tenant experience platform serves more commercial tenants around the world than any other provider, with 145,000 active users and over 8,900 companies registered. Equiem expanded to the USA in 2017, partnering with Adams & Co in New York City and has since rolled-out across 8.5 million sq ft of prime commercial space coast-to-coast, with further sites in Houston, Philadelphia, Portland, Austin, and Seattle. The latest additions to the company’s US team will enable the firm to continue its rapid expansion across the USA, with further deals expected to be announced in the next few months.

David Chiapoco, Equiem’s Global VP of Marketing, has moved to Equiem’s New York office from Sydney, Australia. David has been with Equiem since 2011 and is responsible for leading Equiem’s global marketing strategy to support business goals, including new customer acquisition and revenue growth. David oversees the delivery of Equiem’s brand identity, strategy and purpose, as well as the firm’s overall messaging and positioning.

Equiem has also appointed Elise Duchatel as Senior Client Services Manager. Elise is the first point of contact for all of Equiem’s US clients and is responsible for ensuring complete customer satisfaction. She oversees the project management process for all new platforms, particularly focusing on effective launch and user registrations, as well as the ongoing success and ROI for all clients using Equiem’s platform and services.

Finally, Chloe Weber has been appointed as Client Solutions and Onboarding Specialist. Chloe is focused on driving Equiem’s growth across the USA through lead generation, research and forecasting, as well as supporting the onboarding process for new clients.

The latest changes also see Equiem’s Executive Vice President of Business Development, Richard Morell, move from the firm’s New York office to Los Angeles, establishing a permanent presence for Equiem on the West Coast for the first time. Equiem recently announced its first deals on the West Coast with Unico Properties, launching at three commercial buildings in Seattle and Portland comprising nearly 2 million sq ft.

Commenting on the appointment, Gabrielle McMillan, CEO of Equiem, said:

“We are delighted to welcome David, Elise and Chloe to our US team and have no doubt that their hard work and expertise will help us build on the fantastic momentum we have achieved here over the last two years. Our longstanding reputation as the industry’s most trusted tenant engagement experts, coupled with the recent launch of significant upgrades to our market-leading platform, Equiem NEXT, means we are in the perfect position to help commercial landlords across the USA make the now critical transition from rent collectors to sought-after service providers. With a presence now stretching coast-to-coast, and strong demand from owners in major cities across the country, we are gearing up for a busy 2020.”
