The study, which was conducted between November and December 2015, surveyed more than 1,000 U.S. real estate professionals about their technology usage and attitudes in order to gain a better understanding of how devices are used for work. According to the snapshot market study, the iPhone was the preferred mobile device amongst real estate professionals. Overall, iOS devices, including iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks were the most popular mobile devices, representing 76 percent. The most popular personally owned device used for work was the iPhone, followed by the iPad at 10 percent, MacBook at 3.3 percent and Samsung Galaxy at 2.3 percent. Other responses included a multitude of other devices including HTC One M7 and M8, Microsoft Surface, Motorola XT1097, and other devices representing 21 percent. Emerging Trends: When asked how real estate professionals use their devices at work and play consumers provided some interesting answers, particularly for smartphones.
